Great Cleanse for the Price

Review Questions:
State: Pennsylvania
SkinType: Sensitive

I have used this product for over ten years. The only time I have acne with this product is when I eat too much of one item (eg: orange juice. lemonade. soda, fried foods, etc). This product does a good job of cleansing my pores. If you are looking for a quick fix to bumps, I suggest that you use this in conjunction with Bump Patrol/Witch Hazel. But my experience with this product is amazing. I would highly recommend to my friends and family.

Guess I'll have to find a new cleanser...

This is a huge disappointment. I've used this cleanser since the 90's and it's always worked like a charm. But since they've removed the triclosan it just doesn't work for me anymore. Now it's just soap.

Triclosan removed?

Review Questions:
State: District of Columbia
Age: 25-34
Review Text:
Triclosan, the antibacterial ingredient, is this product worked so well at preventing acne. I bought a new bottle this week, and after washing with it, my skin felt unusually oily. A breakout began the next day. I took a closer look at the bottle and noticed, lo and behold, triclosan had been removed from the ingredients list. Why? It is safe and effective - and the sole reason this product USED to work.

I bought this cleanser on Walmart and is really worth it. My face is always so soft when I use this face cleanser. Also, it smells so goooood and it’s worth the price. 100% recommendable.

Without Triclosan, there's no reason to buy this cleanser

Review Text:
For some reason they decided to remove the only ingredient that made this facial cleanser better than the million other too-expensive, ineffective products out there. Some people are worried about the 'dangers' of Triclosan, but even minimal research on the subject quickly shows that those worries are based on emotion rather than scientific evidence. If anyone doesn't like to use the product, they are free to use another one. But for some of us, Foaming Facial Cleanser with Triclosan was the ONLY product that worked without causing irritation. I used it for years, and C&C has now lost an extremely loyal customer--and tens of thousands more just like me, I'm guessing.

Triclosan removed from ingredients!?

Review Questions:
State: Texas
Age: 25-34
Review Text:
This has been the only face wash I have used for a couple years now. It was the only thing that made my skin feel clean and prevented breakouts, because of the antibacterial ingredient: triclosan. I just bought a new bottle, and this ingredient (the only active ingredient) has been recently removed. With the new face wash: my face still feels oily after washing, just like all other regular face washes. i understand that triclosan is a "controversial" ingredient, but it worked for me and I would like it to be added back to the face wash. Before the change, I would have rated this product a 5, but unfortunately now it is just like all the other face washes out there.

Why change a good thing?

I have used this product since 2006 & it has been the only thing that has controlled my acne. I noticed a few months ago that it had stopped working for some reason, and I realized that it no longer had triclosan as the active ingredient - this new formula is no more effective than washing your face with Dawn. Will no longer use.

It lives up to everything it says on the box. I have been using it for about two and a half weeks and the results are amazingly.
