The second most important step in cleaning your skin is to go after any dirt left hiding in your pores.
And here's how you do it:
Soak a cotton ball or pad with some astringent and wipe it over your face.
The T-Zone area is where oil usually hangs out, so give that a good once-over.
Because this product can dry out your skin take it slow and use just once a day.
If all goes well, gradually increase to 2-3 times a day if needed or recommended by your doctor.

Works good...but not the best...
Well, I have the old version without the 2 on it but it is the same thing. It usually works with my whiteheads and I don't get acne that much. Now I have this big papule right under the corner of my mouth and I've been using it on there and it doesn't do anything. Any big acne pimples don't go away when I put it on them, but in general, it works good.

Best acne zapper ever!
Every now and then I'll have a pimple/zit pop up somewhere on my face, and I can't get rid of it no matter what I use! I saw this at CVS and decided to get it, put it on a monster size pimple I had, and when I woke up it was gone! It was crazy :) I love this stuff more than I can say. Although the smell is strong (alchohol) and it can sting your eyes, I give this a 5/5 for sure!

Amazing!
My most favourite product to use on my face. I wash my face normally and put it on before bed and voila my skin is totally clear in the morning! It's a little harsh and drying but in the morning I'll put on a little moisturizer and it's all good. I will continuously purchase this product as it works wonders for me!

my goto astringent
This is definitely my go-to astringent. Typically I used a face wash when I'm home but for traveling (which I do a lot of), this is perfect. I just pour some into a travel container and my face stays clear while I'm on the road.

Zapped my irritated skin while helping to clean up my pores!
I love this stuff! Although the scent of alcohol is on the strong side, I always use this after I use the Essentials Foaming Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin. I have tried a few toners, but this one feels like it's really effective. I can feel it in my pores, and it gives my skin a fresh feeling. I also use it on areas of my face where I've had trouble making pimples dissapear, and within a week my combination skin was clean and clear:)

Great!
I have very sensitive, combo skin and acne on my forehead. This product is amazing! The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it made my chin dry. I use this product after I use the foaming facial cleanser for sensitive skin.

No.
Not for me. I have oily skin and I have been using this with their "3 Step Routine". I helps clean out the junk in the pores after cleansing, but didn't really help my acne clear up. Only a small bit of my skin has cleared.

Great! (or so I thought)
I was totally in love with this product! I used more than any other in the routine so it ran out first. I decided to see how my skin would react without it and it is doing SO.MUCH.BETTER! While using this I was waking up with a new pimple every morning but now my skin is clearing up amazingly. I guess it was too harsh. Now I use the wash and the mousturizer which I love I just don't like the astringent. But I would still give it a shot and maybe I will try the sensitive skin version.
